Running Wild

Maker's notes:

Image was shot at the south part of Theodore Roosevelt National Park just before sunset. Shot with a Tamron 175-600mm lens set to 182mm. Camera mode was Aperture priority (Av) set at f/16 for great dept of field. ISO 800 resulted in a shutter speed of 1/1600 which I wanted to stop motion as the wind was blowing the grass and the horses tail.

Judges' comments:
Nice composition; good format; blowing tail is dynamic; good tonal range; might use less of the white border
