Judges' comments:
Great color contrast. Butterfly fills the frame nicely. Could use some adjusting of the light and shadow to bring in detail around the head.
Maker's notes:
This image was shot at Olbrich gardens in Madison. It was handheld with the camera set to Aperture Priority. Aperture was set to f/9 for depth of field, ISO800 resulted in a shutter speed of 1/500 sec. to compensate for hand holding. Focal length was 67mm. Very little photoshop work required.
