Judges' comments:
Pretty colors in the water; nice curve in the foreground; the sand is bright and lacking detail; the dark shadow on the left is a bit distracting
Maker's notes:
While we were in Florida this past January and February there was heavy rains in the panhandle area of Florida. These rains created this gully on a stretch of shoreline leading to the water. When waves would come in over the gully the birds would flock there eating whatever the waves brought in. This photo was shot with my P&S camera.
