Lovely pasetel colors; gorgeous from a distance; a little soft up close
Maker's notes:

This was a very special moment. I arrived early at the location and saw Teton leading his ban of horses across the prairie. I had been watching this band for about 4 days now and in those 4 days a baby colt was born and is at the end of the ban. The mood was surreal and cold. The snow was falling and the sun was peeking out. Using my canon 100-400ii lens I wanted to capture them with the scenic background. I am not sure I did it justice but the moment for me is forever etched in my mind. I stayed with this group for about 2 hours in the distance. Roosevelt National Park.
