Judges' comments:
Tells a story; nice lighting; few distractions; the people's feet are cut off
Maker's notes:

Can you see.....? Old friends, maybe neighbors. Can you see the one who loves being modern in his dress? The two who are very traditional with a lungi and tanangka on their faces. They are studying a cell phone as a group. The modern boy dyed his hair, as is the style there. They may have done the hair dying as a group and two others used just a little of the same dye too. The two older boys have large tattoos, as is often the case there. They have a few years until adulthood will arrive.

Some feet are cut off. The background could distract a less interested viewer. This is street photography and is not posed. The photo had to be taken before they could begin to pose and destroy the messages. Also there is the issue of "buck fever" on the part of the photographer.
