President's Corner - September, 2009

The big news is our new meeting location. Beginning October 27 we will meet at the Myrick Hixon Eco-Park Building. This change will give us more room for our growing membership and great opportunities for field trips into the marsh. Note our next meeting, October 13, will be at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe at 6:00. Bring your camera and tripod for some good evening shots with interesting subjects. Our program will be by Bob Metcalf on architecture photography. Check our website schedule for details.
We have scheduled a field trip to the Schnick farm on Sunday, October 18. Meet at the La Crescent Kwik Trip at 7:00 am. See our website schedule for details.
