Meeting Summary - April 14, 2009

• Routed sign-up sheet to photograph the Fitness Festival 5/2&3
• Announced and handed out monthly N4C awards
• It was moved & 2nd from the floor to cast a unanimous ballot for all the listed N4C officers as presented by N4C. Motion carried.
• Financial Report by John Zoerb.
• Signup for the Year-end banquet was started- $20 payment in advance is needed. John Zoerb is handling.
• Everyone reminded that LACC election of officers and key committee chairs will be at the May 12 meeting.
• Owen to contact Dick Gagne to set up date for judging contemporary N4C slides and prints.
• Announced that Bob Hurt has agreed to host a LACC field trip to his studio this summer. Group agreed this a good idea. Owen to coordinate.
• Bob Hurt will hold lessons in his studio teaching Photoshop using CS3 if sufficient interest. Owen, Mike Bell, and Gail Hemker signed up. Owe will send out email to everyone to see if more interest. Owen will coordinate.
• Mike Bell explained the issue of Genuine Fractals becoming sophisticated and recommended we apply a watermark to images in our on-line gallery. Several other members concurred. Owen to contact Michelle to discuss and determine action.
