Meeting Summary - October 28, 2008

• Introductions
• N4C entries are due next meeting. Categories are open, nature, contemporary
• Convention slide show images due. If contributing lots, please organize them by subject/location.
• We voted for continued membership in the PSA after some senior members explained the benefits/
• We have tentatively scheduled a camera gear swap meet for February 7th, 2009 at the greenhouse. This will be open to the public. If you want to set up at a table, the cost is $5. For wandering sellers, the cost is $2. Set up will be at 7am with the meet running 9am to 3pm. At the same time, there will be an open flower shoot.
• Discussed results from convention planning meeting and what still needs to be done.
• Discussed the website and the information found there.
• Explanation of contemporary category
• Shirley mentioned three photo contests: Friends of the upper miss river refuge / National eagle center / MVC

This evening’s program is the competition results.

• Judges: Shirley, Jerry W, John Z
• 117 images – new record.
• Might need to go to 1 entry per category per person next year if we continue to grow.
