Beautiful; velvet water is lovely; sharp; green on the trees is a nice pop of color; the long exposure effect on the clouds is disorienting given the peaceful feeling of the rest of the image

This is the Lake Superior Trombolo shot south of Grand Marie, Minnesota. In June 2025. Shot in Manual mode. Set shutter speed to 10 seconds to get milky waves. aperture was f/13, ISO 100 (to get long shutter speed). Focal length 20 mm. Processed is Lightroom and Photoshop. Shot using a tripod.
