With explanation, it would have done better; there is significant noise due to high ISO
Maker's notes:
I was in rural Iowa on the night of the October 2014 eclipse. It was quite cloudy and thought I was going to miss it. Minutes before sunset the sun dropped below the clouds with the moon partially blocking the upper 1/3. As it set it dropped below a narrow band of cloud. I barely got a shot off for this image. 5 sec. later it was gone. Handheld, ISO-800, f/5.6, Zoom at 135mm. AP gave 1/25 sec. Given time I would have used a tripod and f/16.
