Great vivid color; impact from the power of this animal; lots of contrast
Maker's notes:
This image was shot at the Colorado Springs Zoo on a bright sunny day. My 60D was set in aperture priority mode at f/8 to get some depth of field with a 135mm lens. ISO 400 was used to get shutter speed up to 1/320th sec., because tiger kept moving. The camera was hand held, and spot metering was to insure the white area's of the tiger did not wash out. Background was in the shade but photoshoped to almost black.
