Judges' comments:
Pumpkins in field lead in to the subject; great sense of place; could lower the exposure a bit
Maker's notes:
Image was shot handheld in aperture priority move, set to f/3.5 for short depth depth of field. ISO-400 resulted in a shutter speed of 1/3200 sec. Exposure bias set to +.3 to try and lighten the shadow. Lens is a Canon18-135 zoom set at 22mm. Post processed in Lightroom.
