Each fall my husband and I go camping at Crex Meadows. It for me is one of my highlights of my fall. Its the great migration at its best. Between 15,000 to 20,000 sandhills visit the area. Sunrise in this area can be tough so I watched a number of sandhills fly out to the corn fields and was waiting for the sandhills to be in the right spot for a backlit shot. This was the shot I came away with.
