This photo is a combination of texture and my summer flowers.  The texture layer is a photo of "Rime Ice" on one of my trees.  The Heliopsis (Summer Flower) photo has a background "pink" color because of the shallow DOF of Asters behind it.  My preference was to use a low opacity which does show the "Rime Ice" in the petals and in the pink background, but yet is not overpowering.  I am very thankful to Sue who gave us Zoom workshops on "layers", which gave us many ideas editing our photos.
