Maker's notes:
This image was shot in my home studio. Rose was about 4 feet off the floor on a stool. A softbox was placed on the floor, behind the rose, aiming up at the rose at about a 45 degree angle. A second flash with umbrella modifier was on a stand about two feet away, and two feet above the rose on camera on camera left. A handheld battery powered LED light was used for fill lighting. Camera was mounted on a tripod about 2 feet from rose. Lens was an 18-135mm Canon Zoom set to 62mm. Exposure was set to manual mode f/11, 1/60 sec/ ISO 200. Twirl pattern was created with the Twirl filter in Photoshop CC.
