Texture really catches the eye; many shades of color from white to pink; stands out against the black background; sharpness of the stem falls off
Maker's notes:
This image was shot in my home studio against a black backdrop. Lighting was with 18x24 softbox behind and below the flower, and a 24 inch umbrella on camera right about about 2 ' above the flower. Camera was tripod mounted in manual mode set at f/11, ISO 200, 1/60 sec. Zoom lens set to 62 mm. Processing was done in Lightroom and oil paint effect done in Photoshop.
