Maker's notes:
This image was shot in the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs Colorado. It was late afternoon on a very overcast and cold day in February. the image was shot with a Canon 7D Mark ii and a Tamron 175 - 600 mm zoom lens set to 375 mm. Camera was set in aperture priority mode at f/5.6, ISO-800 (due to low light) to get a shutter speed of 1/200 second. This is slower than I usually like hand held with a long lens (prefer >1/500 second) but best I could do in the low light. I had many blurry versions of this shot before I got a good one.
