Judges' comments:
Lighting is very pretty; nice layering of diagonal planes; good placement of points of interest
Maker's notes:
This image was taken in Bryce Canyon NP, in Utah in late September. It was late afternoon and a storm was approaching. The image was taken handheld with my Canon 7D Mark II, with an 18-135 mm lens set to 56mm. The image is a 5 shot HDR with a nominal setting of f/11, ISO 400 with a resulting shutter speed of 1/800 sec. in aperture priority mode. HDR shot 2 positive at 1.3 steps and two negative at 1.3 steps. Post processing was done in Lightroom Classic.
