The Polar Plunge is back with less freezin' but still fun!
From the Special Olympics announcement:
Special Olympics Wisconsin’s newest event will have something for everyone. For our dedicated supporters who missed plunging into icy water this winter due to our COVID-related changes to the Polar Plunge, you’ll be able to make up for it by taking our Solar Plunge into chilly beach water or an icy pool. Participants will also have the chance to run or walk the 5k Sun Run. There will be options to do both events or pick just one. The events are family friendly, with kid runs, food and socially distant activities for all to enjoy! For those that would prefer to not participate in person, there will be a virtual option as well!
At this time, it is not confirmed whether this will be an official LACC volunteer event.
