Maria Barry

Hello, I'm Maria Barry. I have been pastionate about photography all of my life. My first camera was a Kodak pocket instamatic when I was a teenager. I would run around my house taking pictures of everything in sight: my dog, flowers in the backyard, my feet (by accident).
One of the things that I love most about photography is that there is always something new to learn. I will never know it all, which is refreshing! I enjoy being a member of the LaCrosse Area Camera Club. It allows me to surround myself with like-minded people who inspire me to grow as a photographer.

My business ~ Ridgetop Photography ~ is still in it's infancy, but I love all the wonderful people I have had the pleasure to meet during our photo sessions.

I think the greatest compliment that I can receive is when a client just loves how their pictures turn out and they tell a friend or co-worker. Then in return, that person calls me to schedule a photo session!

I love to travel! I have been very fortunate in life to have traveled to most of the United States, some of Europe, Africa, Asia and New Zealand. I also enjoy gardening (flowers & veggies), movies and reading. My goal is to travel throughout the U.S. visiting the National Parks photographing all the amazing scenery. If, by chance, I happen to pass a vineyard along the way, I will have to stop for a tour and a glass of wine!
