Milky Way Shoot Tonight,

I have been watching the sky all day, and so far all I can conclude is it changes about every 30 minutes.  Right now, where I am north of Holmen, the sun is shining with area's of blue sky.  This is very typical of May.  I have received emails from several of you.  I am going to leave shortly for the location.  My guess is when I get there it will change several times between now and shoot time after 11.  I will start taking fore ground shots about 9 PM, because it does not matter what the sky is like when you shoot those.  I know some of you are not planning on coming out until after 10 PM to concentrate on the Milky Way.  It is hard to do Mail Chimp form the phone, so if you want to know conditions before you leave email me at [email removed] or txt/call me at [number removed] and I will give you an update.  I know from experience it can be completely different at the Brownsville Overlook than it is here in Holmen.  I will hang out there until about 11:30 even if the sky is bad.  If it is good I will be out there much longer.  Even if the sky does not cooperate it's a nice evening to sit by the river and talk photography.

Here's hoping for clear skies.

Brian
