The meeting will be at the Southside Neighborhood Center, 1300 6th St S, La Crosse, WI 54603.
Agenda:
- The Fundamentals Program will be “Sports Photography – Football” presented by Kevin Millard.
- The Main Program will be “Different Camera Techniques” by Sue R. Sue will have a brief discussion on different camera techniques such as High Key, Low Key, ICM, etc and how to recognize them.
- Michelle will also take a couple of minutes to cover how to find information on the Website.
Normal Meeting Stuff
- Judges needed - Sue will be passing around the judging sign-up sheet at the meeting, so please remember to sign up to be a judge or observer. We need judges for the October Competition
- Treat Schedule - The “Treat Schedule” has a couple of openings left, so Kristi will be passing around the “Treat Sheet”. Pick a date and bring your favorite treat for everyone to share!
- K& K Photo Challenges –
- Board Game – Choose a board game and shoot a series of photos from different perspectives. Images due Dec 1, 2026. E-mail images to kambrose@live.com
- One Color – Choose a main color and create a series of photos where your chosen color in the “Star of the Image”. Images due April 1, 2027. e-mail images to kristiolson@hotmail.com

October Photo Competition
- Categories include People, Nature, Creative, and (1) B&W print.
- Images due no later than 5:00 PM, Sunday Oct 4th, 2026

To enter images or prints in competitions you need to be a current club member.

Upcoming Park and Rec Events to Photograph:
We get to use our meeting room free of charge by taking photos of park and rec events. Please volunteer if possible. When the photos are finished, bring them on a USB stick to the receptionist at Black River Beach Community Center with a note or envelope that they are for Kat.:
- Pettibone Haunted Mile – Friday, October 16th, 5pm-8pm at Pettibone Park
- Erickson Bowl (“Superbowl” of Youth Flag Football program) – Friday, October 23rd, 5:30pm-8:30pm at Erickson Park
1st October Meeting will be on Tuesday, October 13th at the Black River Neighborhood Center, 1433 Rose Street, La Crosse, WI 54603.
The Fundamentals Program will be “Black and White Photography”
Main Program will be competition results by Sue, and the judges.
