About the Club

The La Crosse Area Camera Club is an educational and social organization that brings together people of all skill levels to share their art, improve their skills, and find fellowship in a friendly and supportive environment. Our members range from those who are just learning how to use their cameras to those who have been shooting for decades. We offer educational programs and mentorship as well as hands on workshops, monthly competitions, field trips and more.

We primarily meet on the second and fourth Tuesdays, September through May, at the Black River Community Center on Rose St. The first meeting in September is generally an introduction to camera club and a great meeting for new folks to check us out, though you are welcome to jump in at any time throughout the year. Starting in October, the first meeting each month is for viewing the results of our monthly competitions while the second features a program or workshop. Learn more on the events overview or head to the full listing of events to see all our activities.

Interested? Prospective members can check out up to three meetings before joining. Ready to join? See the Become a Member page for more details. Questions? Use the contact form and someone from the leadership team will be happy to help.
